Anaya's Blog

hunting for cheerios

So nice to have little baby friends to hunt for cheerios with.

up high

Now the fun begins.

lunching with rita

Here is Anaya happily eating away with her bestest friend outside of mama and dada, her beloved Rita. We are all going to be very very sad to leave such an amazing caretaker who has been instrumental in Anaya's happiness and development. We love you Rita.

first word = tella

Very diplomatic if I don't say so myself. She has been saying da da da and ma ma ma here and there but we think that the very emphatic "ta" is the first true association she is vocalizing for tella. I wanted to get a few instances so it was clear. She's so smart.

The Wave

Our baby has started to wave. Here she's a little tentative but she's getting it more and more and waves hello, goodbye, whenever. It's very interesting to see her start to associate words with actions. Next we're hoping for some clapping.
